EQUIPMENT

  • The laboratory is equipped with an induction casting furnaces with ultrasonic and electromagnetic melt stirring capabilities, a heat treatment furnace, a rolling mill, a drawing machine, a glovebox for preparing the nano-modifiers, and a modern welding machine with an automatic torch as well as the capability of 3D printing

MAJOR SPACE PROJECTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Project "Electromagnetic processing during solidification of nano-particle strengthened light alloys for additive manufacturing" (2020-2023). Funding 645 000 EUR by European Regional Development Fund
