Deep Space Energy is on a mission to become an electricity supplier in space powering exploration, industry and living beyond Earth. The company develops a portfolio of ground-breaking early-stage (low-Technology Readiness Level, TRL) technologies to cover various space energy generation assets, such as advanced solar technologies, radioisotope electric generators, hydrogen storage, and nuclear fission power.

TECHNOLOGIES AND COMPETENCES

Currently, Deep Space Energy owns an early-stage (low-TRL) technology concept for the dynamic radioisotope power converter with the use of ferrofluid sealing as the key innovation to ensure highly-efficient power conversion in the ware-free dynamic system for 20+ years of service time in the maintenance-free mode.

While aiming for leadership in electric generation for deep space applications, the company establishes expertise in scouting and spinning off technologies from academia and then leading the technology development toward market-ready products.
