FOCC is an SME that was founded in 1996. FOCC provides services for smart forest and agriculture resource management by operating an aircraft fleet, a certified aviation airfield, UAV and ICT technologies, IoT sensors, and remote sensing data. FOCC has extensive project experience as the first private company in Latvia to provide forest management consultations and LiDAR and hyperspectral data-based forest inventory. FOCC is currently the contractor for the airborne distribution of rabies vaccination capsules in Latvia, as well as a supplier to ESA.

TECHNOLOGIES AND COMPETENCES

FOCC has the expertise and practical experience in the application of new technology and data for forest and agricultural resource management, as well as spatial planning. FOCC has developed a fleet of aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that can be outfitted with a variety of hyperspectral sensors and a LiDAR laser scanner. FOCC has amassed a large database of remote sensing data (RGB images, LiDAR data, hyperspectral data, thermal images, video) that are used for deforestation detection, digital modeling, wild animal tracking, and planning and management of built areas.
