With over 12 years of experience in stabilization technology, BaseCam Electronics develops advanced controllers for precision stabilization of cameras, lasers, antennas, and other payloads on moving and airborne platforms. We are an official partner of Team DIANA, whose rover uses our stabilization controllers. We also cooperate with companies in Europe and Canada, providing stabilization solutions for stratospheric balloon systems used in wildfire detection, Earth observation, and surveying.

TECHNOLOGIES AND COMPETENCES

We specialize in the development and manufacture of modular controllers for precision payload stabilization. Our products are designed for easy integration into customer hardware and can be adapted to specific sensors, mechanics, interfaces and control requirements. We offer custom hardware and firmware development, including new functions and communication interfaces. Our controllers support third-party high-precision IMUs and encoders, simplifying system integration. Licensing options are also available for partners requiring full control over production and integration.

EQUIPMENT

  • All stabilization controllers and IMUs undergo functional and performance testing as part of our standard validation process.
  • In case it is required all controllers could be tested in a harsh environment in a special laboratories provided by VIRAC
