EVENT: ESA BIC Latvia invites applications — deadline 27.10.2026

ESA BIC Latvia invites startups developing space technologies or using space data, technologies and services in their products to apply.

Applying has become significantly simpler. From September 2026, the application is a single document instead of the previous three, with a maximum length of 15 pages (excluding annexes), and applicants can consult with the ESA BIC Latvia team throughout the preparation process.

Who can apply:

  • A company registered in Latvia or an individual who has begun establishing a company
  • A company no older than five years
  • A developer or user of space technologies with a clearly justified connection to space
  • A company with a viable business plan in which more than 50% of shares are owned by the applicants

What the programme offers:

  • Up to €80,000 in funding for product and intellectual property development (€40,000 ESA contribution + €40,000 ERDF de minimis contribution)
  • Up to 24 months of incubation support
  • 50 hours of business coaching
  • 80 hours of technical support
  • 10 hours of IP and legal consultations
  • Technical support from leading experts in Latvia and ESA
  • Support for capital raising, workshops, mentoring and access to an industry partner network
